Did Bill Clinton ever have so many protesters when he was in office?

Were there ever any kinds of Protests like the ones we have seen since January of 2001?I can't recall any, but I could be wrong.

As popular as he was at home (and he was despite what Rush and Hannity say), he was even more so abroad. My in-laws in Syria absolutely adored both Bill and Hillary. In fact, whenever my mother-in-law sees Bill's image on television she say something like "oh for the days of Clinton" or "God bless Clinton."
