What a waste of airtime.

TONIGHT'S FOCUS HAS CHANGED: The DA and Sheriff from Santa Barbara have just held a press conference, announcing that there is an arrest warrant for Michael Jackson on multiple counts of child molestation, and they are negotiating his surrender with his attorneys. We are going to switch topics to cover this tonight, we'll report on President Bush's visit to Britain and the situation in Iraq tomorrow.

1. All Michael, all the time
who freakin' cares. What he did is heinous - hell, he is heinous - but it is hardly Late Breaking News (not the DU kind), the world has known he is a freak for over a decade. Liz Taylor won't even have anything to do with him anymore.

2. Well, isn't it about time we start a letter writing campaign to the
news channels and the networks saying that we refuse to buy ANY product that is advertised in the news programs until they stop the idiocy of making CELEBRITIES the most important news items in the country to the detriment of a country that is going down the drain?

And then really STOP watching those programs.
