1. Nothing like political suicide
and doing all the heavy lifting for the PNAC. WTF is wrong with these people, can't they ever see the BIG picture and reality?

2. I'll be sending a letter off to Sheila Jackson Lee.
I'm very disappointed to see her name on this. Does she think for a minute that this would apply to the priveleged and well connected? Of course not, they'll be able to continue with their educations and careers and gain an additional 2 years of income advantage over those middle class boys and girls while they're off becoming Hitler Youth.

3. I believe that this was done early last year...
... as a sort of publicity stunt by the Dems to point out more clearly where this admin was headed to the untutored masses. I believe that the thinking was that if there was a draft more of the sheeples would not support the war.

4. Yeah, but you can't mobilize for PEACE and for WAR
at the same time.

Your garden is either growing or you are harvesting it.

Basic physics and universal law.

and the sheeple......the ones with money who are willing to buy politicians KNOW that their little ones will be exempted..

I am incredulous......drafting females. Uh, isn't it enough that women birth the little cannon fodders? sheesh
