How many people really know what Uday and Qusay really look like?

With the photos about to be released, I had a thought. This is going to be one more shining example of the ignorance of the average american. I can almost guarantee there will be a lot of people who believe that's them in the photos, when they have no clue what those guys look like in the first place. It occured to me that I didn't even know until I decided to look them up today

and believe me, I'm the ultimate conspiracy theorist. At first I didn't believe it but now I'm 100% sure the brothers are dead.

3. I'm waiting until they're released...

Before I make any kind of judgement. Not looking forward to seeing this, but I disagree with many on this board. Yes it's distasteful, but in this case it had to be done to satisfy skeptics. If the government was saying they killed BIN Laden, people all across the spectrum would be demanding proof. Usay and Qusay aren't Bin Laden by any stretch, despite what * says, but that doesn't make it any less distasteful. The real question is, can we believe it? I don't think a rush to judgement would be wise here.

4. how can it satisfy skeptics?

If someone believes the U.S. didn't really get U & Q, then how can a couple of photos change their mind?

If they think the U.S. is lying about it, why wouldn't they also believe they doctored up a couple of photos?

No, the release of these photos is not for the stated reason. It's impossible for it to work on that level.

The purpose of the release of these photos is much darker than that. It's the equivalent of putting severed heads on spikes, or public executions, or pinning taunting notes on dead Afghans.

5. I think its them.

I can see it. The nose on quday is distinctive, as well as the shape of his face seems to match the sick ass photos CNN is showing. Uday looks like it could be him, upper face seems to match, but his cheeks look a bit puffier.

6. Take a closer look at Qusay

Take a closer look at Qusay's nose and his mouth, they don't match the
death photo.

The photo of Uday does look the same, but only with his cheeks being puffier.

the shot showing the half profile of Quday on the other thread is really dark, you cannot see the bridge of his nose.
