2. Charlie Rose...
...has been disappointing on many occasions. Daily Howler has had some choice comments about Rose's spinning.

Brill's Content, the now-defunct (but excellent) magazine published by Stephen Brill, had a running Rose clock (publishing the amount of time Rose talked versus his guests). Pretty funny, actually. (Their point was that Rose talked more than his guests.)

5. INteresting...I thought so too, at first.
But, at the end, he seemed to be leading Kerry.....

I had the program on, but I am working, so I didn't pick up on everything....I did think that Kerry was outstanding in his responses, his demeanor, and his gravitas. I could see him as President, no problem.

He nailed Bush bad.........

4. Rose is one of the worst Bushwhores in the media....
He ALWAYS takes the Neocon line on Iraq, on the middle east, on everything under the sun.

I have heard him expound without irony on American "exceptionalism" (which means that even when we do really bad stuff, it is actually good).

his interview wit Krugman awas incredibly revealing of his reactinary politics.

Also, he is a slobbering, confused drunk,

Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, and Tenet should be fired!!

He is sounding very decisive and very presidential!

7. It's these one-on-ones where he shines through like a supernova
He's kick-ass when he's confronting Russert or Rose or Matthews or any of these interviewers who try to trip him up because they simply can't. His experience and depth of knowledge on the issues is unparalleled.

9. That's why pundits like Matthews try to trip him up.
They want to act like giantkillers - the same way they treated Gore. They were disgusting then and disgusting now. Maybe more so now because Bush is such an obvious liar and a failure.

8. "This (Bush) has been wrong every step of the way."
"The United States should never go to war if we want to, only if we have to."

BTW: blm's right about Charlie toadying up to Bushler. It is disgusting to see what sadly passes for journalism.
