LOL! - McLaughlin asks Tony Blankley if he's brainwashed after he raves
Edited on Sat Oct-25-03 06:15 PM by janekat
about Rumsfeld being like Churchill. Tony Blankley was going on and on about how wonderful Rumsfeld was - said he was like Churchill. Eleanor Clift - needless to say was just about ready to have a laughing fit and Pat Buchanan was looking at Snow incredulously. Pamela Hess was rolling her eyes.

McLaughlin then asked Blankley if he talked to Rumsfeld lately. When he said "Yes." McLaughlin said "Do you think you were brainwashed?"

Laughter all around...

When Blankley claimed that Rumsfeld had probably had second thoughts about Iraq since he had a high intelligence, McLaughlin said "Well he didn't have it before we went in!"

McLaughlin then proceeded to rip Snow a "new one."

It was perfect.

1. I bet the Corporate Media hates Buchanan and McLaughlin.

Those old farts really know whats going on. Tony Snow is the ultimate whore. I can't believe a fine program like TMG has a hack like him on. Might as well have on Matt Drudge.

The Enquirer now has more jounalistic integrity than FOX News. What a sorry state our media is in. All a bunch of greedy bastards.

11. Actually, since the mainstram media is owned by major conservative...
...corporations, think carefully about why the Bushies are being blasted lately.

IMHO, it's because the owners no longer have any use for the Bushies and have given the media the "green light" to report on anything and everything leaked from the military, the Pentagon, the CIA, the FBI, Congress...even the White House itself.

And why would the major corporate owners turn on the Bushies? It's all about the economy and what the Bushies have failed to do to get it going. On top of that, the corporate tax cut was only 1/3 of what the major corporations wanted, and the wars in the Middle East are proving to be major obstacles to economic recovery.

Edited on Sat Oct-25-03 06:42 PM by muchacho
I was once reamed by Diane Rheme (NPR) when I called in to her show and advanced an "ad hominim" against of Blankley for being part of the Moonie press.

It was sooo worth it.

6. Yes - the McLaughlin Group
McLaughlin used to be sort of conservative but now seems to have swung left.

3. Thanks For The Head's Up...
It comes on in 15 minutes here in Chicago.

Ironically Snow is one of the rare Reich wingers I can tolerate...at least he's not strident and articulate.

McLaughlin doesn't seem too happy with this regime...it's great to see him not parrot the party line and call those who do...too bad there aren't many others doing the same.

10. Ah...Newt's Old Butt Boy
McLaughlin punches him around pretty good these days.

This hack used to pop up on cable food fights everywhere, lately it's only with McLaughlin. Has his "star" faded?

8. Pat has been kicking ass.
I can agree to disagree with a principled conservative, and I'll support them when I think they're right. Pat is against Imperialism.

Read his book, "A Republic, Not an Empire". Very important stuff in there, even if he is a paleoconservative.
