So why are you trying to destroy Venezuela Bush!?
Just what is your problem Mr. pResidente in Thief?

What sick demented agenda do you have for this world? Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez has creativity. He is setting up green zones in poverty stricken cities so people can grow their own food and all you can think to do is try to oust him. At least Chavez was elected with a popular majority. Venezuela, by that measure, is more of a democracy than the US is.

It really bothers you to see people get out from under the corporate thumb doesn't it? You really do fear the power of a good example like Chavez is providing.

You really don't want the people to be better off do you. You want people enslaved to your welfare/warfare dynamic endlessly.

Free enterprise??? capital B capital S!! How about socialism for the rich and capitalism for the poor. That is what we have.

All you do is tour war memorials and talk endlessly about the terrorist boogeymen and do nothing about the economy except rip it off for your corporate cronies and fascist agenda. Always looking for new ways to expand the Military Industrial Complex. What would you have done without 9/11?? You would have shriveled up and vaporized for lack of purpose. All you have is WAR! WAR! WAR! You and your cronies the Saudis want a world that is dependent on oil and will do anything to maintain that dependence, ANYTHING!

How come you haven't proposed anything to deal with the environmental and economic problems of fossil fuel dependence. You've done NOTHING!!! I know what the answer is, you WANT to maintain the status quo for the BFEE's profits. Most assuredly that is the reason for you do nothing strategy.

How about alternatives to oil?? How about mass transit and or subsidizing fuel efficient cars? While you fly around pandering to peoples fears and figuring out new ways of spending the taxpayers money on your war machine and polluting the environment in the process the US grows more dependent on foreign oil, more sickened by pollution. You do NOTHING!!!

Is your goal to simply bankrupt the US and use the fear and misery for endless Kulturcampf with you and the BFEE on the top of the shitheap????? To get everybody so desperate to simply get food on the table that they are unable to keep an eye on you? Housing foreclosures are at an all time high and your banker buddies are salivating at the prospect of being able to repo the homes. Deja vu from the 30's.

Is that it? Do you smile with a thugs glee at Alabama's demise, as I know you did at California's from Kenny Boy's little game.
How long can you get away with it? How long before people see that you really want to turn the US into a Banana Republic.

Your philosophy: "It is better to reign in hell, than serve in heaven"--Milton

6. Because they have the sixth largest proven crude oil reserves in OPEC....
...and they're much closer to the U. S. than is the Middle East. Please note that the U. S. occupies, threatens, and/or heavily influences nine of the eleven OPEC nations. That's not a mere coincidence.

8. And, because, like Castro--Chavez will not be intimidated by US cowards
These people have principle and national pride just as do Americans. My hat's off to them and i hope they succeed in keeping control over their own country's resources.

9. I agree, but
this is more than just about oil. This is about "disciplining" upstart resource rich nations to learn who's boss.

It is about subjugation.

If Venezuela can get out from under these thugs the country could become a vibrant, prosperous nation. This is what the BFEE is afraid of, IMO.

Just think of how great it would be if more nations became self-sufficient and didn't have to depend on foreign or IMF assistance. Wages would go up and the US worker would not have to worry about the cut and run tactics of US company jobs going to foreign, less advantaged countries. This is only a small part of the benefits.

I argue that Bush seeks to destroy self-sufficiency and independence, not because oil supplies are threatened, but because he wants the oil on his terms.

7. El petróleo, compay.
Venezuelan Tender.
Iraqi Jack.
Black Gold.
Texas Tea.
Saudi Salary.

Almighty Petrodollars.

Excellent essay, 9215.

You understand the workings of the BFEE mind —

Enslave humanity.
Loot the planet.
Kill the "undesirables."

Just like the oily NAZI turds they are.
