Do candidates usually make such a decision after the end of a quarter?

1. My Impression Has Been No

it's usually as the result of a disappointing primary loss, although the announcement may not come immediately.

On the other hand, I don't know of too many candidates who have dropped out before the New Hampshire primary.

don't think anyone has ever dropped out before New Hampshire have they?

4. certainly noone you've heard of

it takes little money to hang around that long so why drop ? After that then you will have to spend some to be legitimate as opposed to trying to bring a little light to ones pet issue(s).
