3. it's those eggs in all the colors of the rainbow
and "rainbow" is code for promoting the radical militant homosexual agenda. Dye Easter eggs lavender one day and your kids will be recruited into the homosexual lifestlye tomorrow. The choice is yours!!

9. Welcome to DU Kiouni
Just in time to be drafted for the war against valentine's day or some such nonsense. Or maybe the war against green beer? We can have a war against every holiday all flippin' year. It will be great!

War against firecrackers! War against hotdogs. War against jelly beans. War against pumpkins.

8. See you next year, same time, same bat station....or at least
until the next time the Rethuglicans need to raise some $$$$$$$$.

Because you know that's what this is all about.

Even the most conservative envangelical knows there really is no war on Christmas. But each year, it helps the Republican Party to raise money. They play to their base and tell them there's a war on Christmas.

10. Not for many DUers
who were offended that Google did not say Merry Christmas on its website - at least, not in English, never mind all the cute graphics.

And not to others who are holding steadfast to at least Jan. 1, 2006.

But I liked this comment http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=104&topic_id=5688457&mesg_id=5688485

10. Preview of Bill O"Reilly's show in April:

"Folks, there is a war on Easter! Just yesterday the Plano Texas school district issued a decree that no easter eggs (chocolate or hard-boiled) will be allowed inside the school building. In fact, the school janitor was ordered to trap and kill all the bunnies hanging around the elementary school." Folks - this is liberalism run amok. And what about the town of Eerie, Indiana having a shortage of baskets, so the mayor has outlawed easter baskets! And finally, the citizens of Wahiawa Hawaii are not allowed to say "Happy Easter" but must use the greeting "Friendly Kahuna Day" or face a thousand-dollar fine. I'm telling you folks, you heard it on Fox News. Write your congressmen and complain. Nancy Pelosi has already taken away Christmas, dont let her get away with destroying our beloved Easter too." And that's my talking point for today."

14. 2 American were killed Christmas Day
I want Bill O'Reilly and John Gibson to ask the surviving family members of greiving mothers and fathers of the slained soldiers, along with the sons and daughters, and their brothers and sisters, and their gramps and grandmothers, along with their aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews, and don't forget to ask the dead soldiers best friends since childhood....I want ORielly and Gibson to ask every one of the famiy and friend survivors if they would be offended if some WalMart employee does not wish them a "Merry Christmas"?.
