I Hate Revisiting This But....
Thom Hartman states that he is a long time friend of Bev Harris. What's up with that?

1. Good for them. Paperless voting machines probably
wouldn't be controversial if not for Bev Harris.

2. Let Me Be Clear
If she helps, she helps. I just saw too many posts slamming her here...

4. We slam her for valid reasons.
She has earned each and every one on her very own accord. Like I said before, " Fuck Bev and the elephant she road in on". :nuke:

11. You cannot say anything that will ever convince me that she
deserves anything BUT slamming. She is slime.

3. That's just false.
Rebecca Mercuri was working on this long before Bev Harris.

6. Working on an issue and publicizing it in a way which catches on
are two different things.

Yes, Rebecca Mercuri was first, but she didn't make it a national issue. Bev Harris did.

7. You already know why she's despised, I don't need to tell you again.

Get involved with her if you like - you will regret it, like everybody else.

8. Posing as a progressive on DU was more than a little dishonest, IMHO....
...and then, after throwing a fit on DU, she became one of the moderators on a Conservative board.

What's up with all of that?

9. Doesn't bother me. We can't pass a verifed-voting bill without
Republicans.

I could maybe cautiously tolerate her if not for what happened to Andy.

15. She HARMS our cause.
Edited on Sat Dec-24-05 03:06 PM by troubleinwinter
She is regarded as a complete nutcase by elections officials in my state that are trying to work on our side.

The problem is that she is regarded as a nutcase by elections officials that are on the fence.

She DISCREDITS the movement in the eyes of many by her antics.

Take the fucking scales from your eyes*. It took her a YEAR to post the 'dumpster poll tapes'. Why now? New donation hopes. Boost her stature so she can fuck the movement in 2006.

What person who cared would take a damned YEAR to post a scan of a coupla pieces of paper while promoting HERSELF all the while.

She is NOT non-partisan. She offered assistance to the (R) Rossi campaign.

Where are her non-profit tax filings?

BS on Bev Harris.

(edit: * not directed at OP, but at those who still are taken in by that &#!!%&*#^*&!!%)
