9. Seriously, isn't what those people did to that poor man

beyond belief? I realize that this is a satire thread, but when you look at the original image, it is hard to escape all the visual symbolism in it. The layer upon layer of historical flotsam and jetsom it pulls along with it. All the ills done in the name of religion and "statescraft" for generations and through millennia. Whether it was intentional, I don't know. I would doubt that people who are capable of this type of barbarism think beyond the immediate gratification of inflicting pain on another human being.
