Have anyone been talking to freepers who are neighbors , relatives or
friends who have changed their minds or opened their eyes to the bushit yet. Are any angry or very disappointed.I am very interested to hear about the ones who worshipped bush and cheney ,or who thought he was a great leader or godly man.

1. A former close friend who voted for him twice
He repeated the bushit line for line. Than one night just happened to see a film called Loose Change about 9/11.

That caused him to finally watch Farenhiet 9-11. He now says he can't believe what a QUOTE "Lying scumbag" bush is.

We are good friends again.

3. Loose Change
I haven't seen it, but my apolitical coworker has, and said he'd loan it to me. He apparently woke up to what's happened today (see my post below).

2. Talked to a coworker today
He's not a freeper, but a cynic about government, telling me before that I shouldn't waste my time because they are all crooks. He came in today and asked me why Bush hadn't been impeached yet. He even said he'd march with me in a demonstration to demand impeachment.

4. My mother still not persuaded.
:(

She thinks it's regrettable but ok that * is spying on citizens. I told her that I might be on some list, and she said, "Well, do you know you're on a list?" Like that matters! I said that considering I attend every anti-war rally I can and do subversive things like post here on DU, it's likely. And if I am on a list, when does it stop? Will they come to her someday and demand information on me? She just looked at me blankly, said, "Oh, now..." dismissively and changed the subject. :banghead:

I don't even talk to my other Republican family members. My mother is by far the most moderate among them.

5. I've talked with nary a one in this bible-belt city: still a godly man and
great leader keeping us safe and therefore should be given the extraordinary powers and authority necessary to keep us safe from terra going forward even if it means surrendering all our civil liberties for we can trust him. They don't say it in those exact words, but might just as well have said it for that's what they mean.

7. how is the economy doing there?
It usually takes a hit in the pocketbook to make some sit up and take notice. It usually takes something personal for people to see, but these people use the bible to justify everything. What makes it so bad is that, they picked the dumbest, uninformed and incompetent non pres to believe in. These people hate to be wrong.

8. not a freeper but a conservative coworker
he says he deeply regrets voting for bush - Katrina sent him over the edge. "They left those people to die", he said.
