I want to be Queen for a day

I want to power to affect change in this country, and I want those decisions to be irrevocable.

I'd put Ted Stevens in an igloo jail surrounded by angry caribou, shove a gavel up Sensenbrenner's throat, convict the Bush Administration of treason and murder, send them to the Hague, I'd make Al Gore President, John Kerry the Vice President, and John Edwards Secretary of state, Attorney General Patrick Fitzgerald (screw you Lieberman!)I would Knight John Conyers, Barbara Boxer, Sheila Jackson Lee, Maxine Waters, Henry Waxman, Cynthia McKinney, John Lewis, Russ Feingold, Dennis Kucinich, Tom Harkin.... demand that automakers make Hybrid vehicles be 75% of their production by next year, I'd revoke tax cuts, fine Bill Gates and the Waltons billions of dollars for monopolistic measures, I'd extradite Bill O'Reilly to Granada, force Rush Limbaugh to donate his entire fortune to drug rehab centers..... stick a hammer up DeLay's... I'd shore up the levees in NOLA, give NOLA reconstruction to NOLA companies.... I'd redistrict Texas and make Lloyd Doggett my Congressman again.... I'd send loads of money to inner city and rural schools.... I'd give a cap to costs to consumers on natural gas up north (I don't care if my step grandfather cares more about the GOP than whether his house is heated)... I'd call for the immediate withdrawal of troops from Iraq, I'd call for the immediate seizure of the collective fortunes of the members of the administration be placed into the Treasury..... I'd make FDR's birthday January 30th a national holiday, honor of the BEST PRESIDENT there ever was. I'd create the Department of Peace and dedicate and name the building for Paul Wellstone, after I'd make Air America a federally funded radio station to be broadcasted nationally. I'd put real scientists in charge of EPA. Make James Lee Witt head of FEMA again. I'd designate ANWR and the remaining pristine natural locations in this country off limits FOREVER.

Definitely decriminalize marijuana... that reminds me.... set all prisoners in torture camps free that haven't had charges brought against them, cause if they had any charges at all, there'd be some..... I'd fund Medicare, put caps on pharmaceuticals, I'd make conflicts of interest illegal, make putting industry execs in governmental positions.... I'd send Michael Brown to NOLA for cleanup without a HAZMAT suit..... I'd Knight George Clooney, TIm Robbins, Susan Sarandon, Martin Sheen...etc... I'd natinoalize Bono and make him an ambassador to a country in Africa, Angelina Jolie would be appointed to make ambassador appointments to third world countries. I would improve relations with South America, establish a legit trade agreement .... I'd call the presidents of SOuth America myself... especially Lula and Chavez.... I'd follow Lula's lead and start a program to make federal agencies run on open source software......

Yeah and I would make sure that on the fourth of July, all American's would have access to free cake or pie....

I was trying to think about homeless animals and people, my dog was a shelter dog.... let me think... I would reform welfare and really fund work programs.... I'd make Health care federally funded..... I'd give tax incentives for people who adopt from shelters.... I'd place MAJOR laws concerning puppy mills... and fund mobile spaying and neutering clinics.... I'd give all teachers 20% raises..... make all schools run on open source software.. I'd create a National Department of Recycling and make recycling a national priority, put recycling centers in all communities... I'd create a Task force that investigates racial, sex orientation and religious profiling. I'd make gay marriage legal and all benefits of same sex marriages would apply. I'd seal Pat Robertson in one of his empty diamond mines. I'd take Bob Novak off CNN and send him to a jail in Transylvania.

All this will be accomplished because the military budget and nuclear weapons programs will be SLASHED to the levels of other industrialized nations.

Any more things I can do on my day as Queen??? Or additional people to be Knighted? ;-)

Yesterday was an anger-filled day, so I thought that making a wishlist would calm me down... it worked.
