Fun wiretapping debate on MSNBC
Abrams program with Pat Buchanan who's blowing a fuse about who leaked to the NYT.

5. Nope. Doesn't seem to be.
Aww, it's over now.

Buchanan was pissed cause someone blew the whistle on the wiretapping and prison camps in Poland or wherever. Other guy was saying "why are you supporting wiretapping and torture?" Paraphrasing, I think.

2. Gee, why wasn't Pat all pissed off about Plamegate?
You'd think he would have been, considering his Nixonian pedigree, but I don't recall his nose being out of joint over THAT leak.

8. Pat still thinks Nixon was unfairly treated. He's an apologist for
every Republican crime going. In spite of the fact he's not welcome at party functions.

9. Why doesn't someone call him on this?
Every time the admin gets in trouble, they march Pat out to make their case. After they give him their talking points, of course. And their attack the messenger routine. It is getting so mundane. I wish someone would just say that to his face and bust him on it. Right on national television. He'd probably cry.

10. I just saw a sound bite from Hardball, (I think) with *saying that he/they
would never wiretap without a warrant.

But now it is a "shameful act" for someone to disclose the fact NO they do not get court orders to wire tap and that they just do it as they please.
