He effectively and unapologetically tears into Bush on his show in the mornings...tears into FOX, and conservative stupidity. This morning he protested the fact that Halliburton is selling refined gas in Iraq at 15 cents a gallon on the streets...refined gas that we make available at that low price by our funding of this criminal scam by paying an extra 60 cents a gallon at the pumps....
And so he took some calls....FOUR IN A ROW douchebag barainwashed Bush lovers call in to defend the crime...Jaco made fun of them and the pitiful defense they put forward...at one point he replies to one of the dopes in a mock retard voice: "doh-dee-doh, I watch Fox, doh-dee-doh"
BUT....why the fuck can't any of us make calls in situations like this? Why is it ONLY fascists, sheeple, and the brainwashed that bother to call when we have the chance? I don't own a cell phone and I drive to work when he is on...
I'm sorry, but I don't think liberals will ever get the fire in the belly that is needed to counter the constant offensive the enemy continues to show great quantities of loyalty to lies and a willingness to give of their time and energy freely and make the calls...even when the host is clearly making a point that should get people like us revved up, but nooooo....all he gets are 4 neo-con looneys... I am ashamed of this party...no one knows HOW to get angry and STAY angry and do anything...like pick up a fucking phone and say "right on!"...no, that is too much for us...we have more important things.......bunch of fucking Alan Colmes is all we have in our ranks...fuck us.

please read my post. I know about Mike Malloy. I would re-iterate my point, but really...it is there in the first post. In a nutshell: libnerals don't have the time, or it is too "precious" to bother taking some of that time to use on on a phone call supporting and commenting on a radio Bush-basher. And we wonder why the conseervatives are the media juggernaut with INTIMIDATION it's claim to power. Cause we are too fucking lazy to make a fucking phone call, even when there is no fucking right wing screener, and STILL we just don't even fucking bother.

4. In Pittsburgh though we have more than our share of brain-washed

Bush backers, two liberal talk show hosts - Lynn Cullen WPTT M-F and Chris Moore on weekends on the Blowhard KDKA (they carry Rush)- have plenty of great liberal callers with fire in the belly. Course they get more than their share of idiots calling from the right that reiterate the Karl Rove talking points. They seem to show up in droves when Rush got bumped by baseball.

We have one other liberal host Mike Romigh in the evenings on the blowhard station (when he's on which is when baseball is off) who gets the most idiotic wingnut callers at night - figure that's cause they're so used to listening to Rush and the two local Rush wannabees all day. When he subs for the wingnut hosts he gets tons of hate calls.

What I love about the more liberal callers is they are all informed, know about PNAC, know the latest on the Iraq spin and that WMD's haven't been found, talk intelligently, debate with the host, etc. All most of the wingnuts can do is be predictable and mostly parrot as loudly and quickly as they can - so the host can't speak over them - the RNC talking points. Hosts have to hit the mute button or hang up on them to get a word in.

Oh and the wannabe Rush hosts talk over and belittle any liberal who calls their show - just like their Oxi-popping hero.

One of two things happens. Either:

1)You are put on hold for an hour. By the time they get to you, they've changed the topic.

Or

2)If you do happen to get in they yell over you and never let you finish a sentence and then hang up.

Maybe liberals don't have time to sit on a phone for an hour.

8. I remember CD Jaco when he was a no name beat report

on syndicated radio news reports. Does anyone else remember him from the mid 80's?


I always thought that he was a no-nonsense objective reporter. Latter when I saw him on CNN, I remember thinking that he was moving up in the world, but then I started to get the impression that he was a little right of center.
