Cheney has Air Stream Motor Home installed in Plane for Iraq Visit!
Our taxpayers dollars at work! How the hell did they get a motor home inside a C-17 cargo plane in time for his "surprise" visit? Wouldn't that take a bit of time to assemble. :eyes:

Cheney, in Surprise Visit, Hails Iraq Efforts

---------------------

By RICHARD W. STEVENSON
Published: December 19, 2005

In his pool report to colleagues, Stevenson wrote that Cheney switched from his red, white and blue 757 to a C-17 cargo plane for the unannounced flight into Baghdad. "An enormous Airstream motor home had been custom-fitted inside the center of the plane so that the vice president could travel in comfort. Lower level Cheney staffers sat in three rows of seats in front of Airstream II, while your poolers were herded over to the steel-and-canvas contraptions lining the sides of the plane. Journalists had a front row seat to the massive stainless steel sides of the motor home."

We all know Cheney can't travel without the medical necessities.

the Airstream.... Sheesh...if he's in that bad a shape it's amazing they can haul his ass over to the cable shows and make it on the never-ending Bush Campaign trail...but he seems to manage it.

He's like Sharon....HUGE and doesn't care about his health...but is LUCKIER THAN HELL...seemingly that EVIL keeps folks healthier than the rest of us. :eyes:

"How the hell did they get a motor home inside a C-17 cargo plane"

If a C-17 can carry a Striker vehicle, it can sure as hell carry an Airstream.

"Crashcart" Dick "Undisclosed Location" Cheney actually takes his own crashcart with him. Talk about cocooning, I can just imagine the PortaBunker glowing eerily in the cargo hold of the C17, lit only by the dull green (red ?) lighting of the nighttime illumination in the giant cargo plane's interior. The journalists exiled to the comfy frame-and-mesh seating and thick airforce blankets of steerage class can only wonder at what course for the world is being formulated behind the blastproof walls of the darkly sleek metal box. I wonder if the Veep and Lynne have ever explored its connubial uses - I guess it's easy to join the mile high club when you Go AirForce...

And all because that b!tch Hillary (you go, gal!) called him on his Dicksize. Dick-size, get it ? Bwahahahaha LOL this is HUGH !!!!!11!!!1!!!!111!!!!! ROTFLMACO.

He has a terrible heart condition. Trips like this could kill him. I'd bet you a dollar that 'traveling in comfort' means IV drips and a big fat bed...and a defribulator.

32. Technically, he was....
Any USAF aircraft he's on has the call sign "Air Force Two". Simular thing with Shrub. If Shrub was to get into a USAF cessna trainer, that trainer would have the call sign "Air Force One".

When Nixon resigned, he was still president until Gerald Ford took the oath of office. Ford took the office while Nixon was in flight. When that 707 took off, it had the call sign "Air Force One". Midway into the flight, Ford took office and the call sign became "Special Air Mission (SAM) 27000"

24. Can you IMAGINE THE PRESS if Gore had an "Airstream Home" put in
the VP's Cargo Plane? Can you imagine Gore having to fly into a country in secret with armed guards not on Air Force II but on a Cargo Plane retrofitted like Cheney had and the press not scurring around in OUTRAGE?

:eyes: Oh...the times we live in...it's wearying to mens and females souls.....THE HYPOCRACY! THE LACK OF OUTRAGE FOR THE MOST AGGREGIOUS TRANSGRESSIONS of our DEMOCRACY!

30. Mention of it in the LA times--can't find any pictures
http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-bush19dec19,0,1629511.story?page=2&coll=la-home-headlines

Using an Airstream travel trailer placed inside a C-17 transport plane as his office and private quarters, Cheney flew overnight from England to Baghdad, where he met with Iraqi leaders and military commanders in the Green Zone, so called for its heavy fortifications. He later attended an Iraqi training exercise at Taji Air Base and spoke to troops at Al-Asad Air Base in western Iraq.

Trading in his white-and-blue 747 jumbo jet for a bare-bones Air Force C-17 Globemaster cargo aircraft, the vice president and his entourage never went beyond the airport during his two-hour stopover. (The plane itself was interesting: It was equipped with an Airstream trailer that served as a makeshift office and a surgical table laid out with a stretcher covered in a white sheet. Someone had draped a large American flag at the front of the plane, just above supplies that included jars of Vlasic kosher pickles.)
