Isn't there a Congressional recess coming up??
Let's see...we have impeachable offenses on the table and we have one member of the White House indicted with more indictments (hopefully) coming soon.
Then we have Sensenbrenner holding the next session of the House while Tom Delay tries to get his legal crap together.
But, is it possible that Sensenbrenner is actually holding the session so that Bush can recess appoint Alito?
After all, with that much scandal on the table, we are going to need a full SCOTUS.:scared:

2. Okay, once more . . .
There can be no recess appointment of Alito or anyone else to SCOTUS, because there is no vacancy. O'Connor expressly made her resignation contingent on the confirmation of her successor.
