13. Yep, "Mission Accomplished." The entire credibility of the
press corp of the US in now in tatters. The Conservatives wanted to destroy the public's faith in our journalists, and I do not believe that even the Conservatives thought that they would have so willing an ally in their quest as the News Corps.

3. The hero worship from Matthews was really too much. He should have
Edited on Fri Dec-16-05 08:43 PM by Mayberry Machiavelli
just come out and said, "I gotta admit I have a man crush on him (shrub). I wanna fellate him, and have his babies if I could."

Really unseemly for people who are supposed to be news reporters. It would be funny if not so sad.

Then Mathews talking about, how, based on this one event, things "looking pretty good right now" for Bush establishing a democracy through military conquest in the Middle East.

Gee didn't they think it looked "pretty good" when that fake crowd pulled down the Saddam statue, too?

19. "He should be on Mt. Rushmore"
Was that not the ultimate Tweety classic??

First it was "Bush's sunny nobility", then it was "everyone likes the Preznit except the real left-wing wackos", and now... he's topped himself!

There is no point in any comedian doing a parody of Tweety. He is a caricature of himself.

9. LOL!! Bus seriously, I was disgusted too
Tweety: Bushy bet everything on democracy in Iraq and now it looks like it is going to succeed! Swoons, sticks nose up Bush's sphincter.

Incredibly disgusting.

17. Tweety suggested that!
Isn't that hilarious?? Could his head BE any further up *'s ass??!

He was swooning because Shrub commented on his (Tweety's) red scarf at the White House reporters' Christmas party last night. I bet Shrub asked him to dance, too.

Mt. Rushmore! Priceless! Imagine--4 presidents' faces, and a horse's ass!

10. Not only that, but Matthews was aggressively going after the NYT reporter
accusing the paper of releasing the domestic spying story specifically timed to spoil shrub's golden moment. He would not let it go.

12. It was sickening I had to turn it off
Tweety said "If Bush succeeds in establishing a Democracy in the heart of the middle east he deserves to be on Mount Rushmore he earned it" I think Tweety actually wiped a tear from his eye when he said this. It seems to me the MSM are all pumping Bush up lately, Anderson Cooper has been pumping him up on CNN. They have been pumping up the economy big time lately too, I fear if the violence subsides some in Iraq we are going to be toast next November. It's obvious the media is on a full scale pump up the polls for Bush the last few weeks. I think the MSM turned after Murtha made his speech on Iraq.

15. More indictments will come
and Tweety will spin in the other direction. Two nights ago (?) he was contradicting Kate O'Beirne and not hawking the daily propaganda machine. Flip.Flop.

Personally, I think he's an idiot. Like the "reporters" who began their careers in cable as Scud Studs, or those who came from the OJ trial, Tweety found his moment in the 2000 election. Then, he was thrown in too deep. I don't really think he understands all the big words. Sometimes it seems that keeping all the facts straight is too much work for that puny brain.

As for the party. It's a tradition it's one of like 20+ parties. Usually, it's not dangerous, it's a nice thing for the press to be invited to the WH for Xmas. Theoretically, you've had a year full of arguing over issues and it's time to have a good time. Only because this group is so slimy do we really have a problem with it. You get greeted in a receiving line and then, if you're lucky, you can mingle with POTUS, FLOTUS and the gang.

Here's an article. http://www.courant.com/news/nationworld/hc-whitehouse1216.artdec16,0,2181362.story?coll=hc-headlines-nationworld

16. TODAY Tweety said Shrub should be on Mt. Rushmore!
Let's see: "Bush's sunny nobility", then "everyone likes the Preznit except far-left wackos", and now... "he should be on Mt. Rushmore" (for "bringing democracy to Iraq").

Even if * DID "bring democracy to Iraq", since fucking WHEN is it some sort of big accomplishment for the president of OUR country to go around changing the governments of other countries???? Especially while he is simultaneously changing the government of THIS country to that of a fascist police state!

Plus, * doesn't give a hot damn about "bringing democracy to Iraq"! The ONLY reason that * gives a happy rat's ass about Iraq at all is that he wants it to be quiet enough there so that he and his oil buddies can control all that happens there so the profits will flow smoothly into HIS bank accounts. I'm sure he's thinking about his and Laura's retirement. I mean, they don't want to have to squeak along on just a 10-figure annual income.

18. ATTENTION all skilled photoshoppers!
Tweety has suggested Shrub should be on Mt. Rushmore. (No, I am not kidding.)

Could someone make me a picture of Mt. Rushmore showing the 4 presidents' faces, plus a horse's behind? I would like to print out a hard copy of it and mail it to Tweety with a note that says, "Here is the preliminary sketch for your fine plan that we put President Bush on Mt. Rushmore!"
