Poll question: Would Grey Davis have granted Tookie Clemency?
Im not that adept at California politics. So Im wondering what affect did the recall have on Tookie chances of receiving Clemency.

2. Who was Grey Davis' # 1 campaign contributor?
The State Prison guards lobby. Grey was a centrist democrat, I seriously doubt he would have granted clemency.

6. Grey Davis had the opportunity to grant clemency and did not.
He was governor. He could have granted clemency at any time. He did not. There is the real world answer to your question.

8. Davis NEVER granted clemency
I believe there were 4 or 5 prisoners fried on his watch and one involved very questionable circumstances. Davis was owned by the prison guard union and knew whic side his bread was buttered on. As sorry a gov as he was he was worlds better than der titzengrabber.
