American psyche. *'s piss poor performancin that disaster fueled his bad numebers. The fact that many Americans have totally forgotten about NOLA is the main reason for this rise in *'s polls.

2. WTF
He gave a damn speech filled with the same retorhic. The only reasons I see his numbers climbing are due the "drop" in oil prices and the fact that this is the holiday season. People are more occupied with shopping, etc.

4. Let's just see what they are in January and February.
When the bills come due, the layoffs come, Ford Motor Company announces restructuring plan, GM layoffs of 30,000 begin to take effect, the elections in Iraq brought about no changes, our soldiers will still be dying, all of the holiday help that they included in their great employment numbers get the boot, etc. They always talk a good game this time of year, but late winter is the true indicator. His poll numbers will go down again. Just be patient. We have so many businesses closing here in Michigan it is sickening.

by not being able to get out of the door after his press conference. Now THAT is pathetic.
