Is the vote in Iraq even relevant ?
Or have any significance in the big picture? Will it not magnify the differences that are already on display? Or do they expect the "losers" in this election to abide by the "will of the majority", as they do in this country? How do we know that it will not make matters even worse? Are we looking at this from the typical Western perspective?

1. it doesn't mean what the warmongers say it means
it probably has some meaning over in Iraq that only Iraqis understand, and probably even they don't fully understand it.

But the crap the "purple finger" people are telling us (and our kids -- see the lesson plan linked below) is pure garbage.
