They should call it "The war on different opinions"
I'm so sick and tired of these people who call themselves religious trying to tell everyone how they should think. These "Fake" news jackasses are trying to make an issue where none exists unless they themselves create it. Some religious folks have a personal opinion that abortion is "murder", but they use the church as a outlet for their opinion, like the church really speaks out about all the real "murder" in the world :eyes: If the church folks are so upset about "murder", why don't they speak out more forcefully against the War in Iraq? Where's the moral outrage over woman and children being killed there? They say (the "faux" crowd), how come the Muslims didn't speak out more forcefully about the terrorist threat? Well, why aren't more christians in this country speaking out about the Fundamentalist terrorists in our country who have sat by mostly quietly while we have already killed over 10x the number of people in Iraq as compared to killed on 9/11? Where is the moral outrage that the Republicans are cutting the budget for social programs at the same time they are providing tax cuts that will mostly affect people who are NOT POOR. Christians in this country are in the majority nationalistic RW nuts who thumb their noses at the teachings of Christ. Why would I want to say "Merry Christmas" to people who are trying to destroy MY way of living because of a few opinions THEY have. Nobody is forcing christians to have abortions, so why can't they live under the laws of this country and choose not to have them if it bothers them so much? They have the gaul to want to change the law for everyone based on their "opinion", but they are silent while innocent people are being killed - which is not only illegal here, but universally accepted as an affront to society worldwide. I'm sick of this hypocrisy and I'm actually LOSING respect for these so called "religious" people by the day. They don't even like Jesus.

Rant mode off:

2. Interesting how they came down on the guy in Calif., they should lose tax-
exempt status for sure. They were all over a minister in Calif. who opposed the President, but they did it continually before the election - thus illegally influencing our elections. They will have to answer for what they are doing - eventually. Just as Bushco will eventually be completely swallowed up by the lies & negligence of the Iraq fiasco. It'll take time, but the legal wizards are doing their homework as we speak...

3. Also, it used to be framed that:
abortion is a moral decision. It's an opinion like you say. I feel that lately, there is a section of people who now says their moral opinions are facts.

Bastards

I myself can still differentiate between opinion and fact. I think some people can't. I bet the fundies don't like it when Logic is taught in the schools.

Nice rant, Mr Spock :hi:

4. Fundies are not logical.
... and I'll be damned if I'm going to live "my" life under thier distorted view of what Jesus taught.

Which church was it that Jesus said we should all go to anyway?
