1. Me too.
Apart from his deluded and indefensible positions on Iraq, his godawful piety really gets to me (I'm half Jewish, btw). Plus he took a dive in the vice-presidential debate. :puke:

2. Plus he gave the Bushists the phony military ballot issue
permitting Katherine Harris to look the other way when absentee ballots from overseas came in a week late and without postmarks.

Plus he called the Ninth Circuit's decision against the pledge of allegiance "the worst court decision of my lifetime" (I paraphrase, but that was the spirit)--and this was *after* Bush v. Gore!

As you say, :puke:

3. Another wolf in sheeps clothing
I am from Connecticut, and I am ashamed that one of our Senators is a Republican in disguise. He's the new Zell Miller.

10. I wish there were someone more exciting than Lowell Weicker
to oppose him. (I actually voted for Wicker in 1988, when I was a student in CT. That was the first and last time I've ever voted for a Republican. My disgust for Lieberman runs deep.)

11. Perhaps another democrat or third party candidate.

Its tough because its a state pride thing, Lieberman is getting lots of national press, and because the average Joe (no pun intended) just votes for the same guy they did last time. We need to stir things up in the CT Democratic party, tough, but who knows?

7. He certainly doesn't speak for the Democrats.
He's a huge albatross around our necks!:banghead: I wish he would just go away.

Peace.
