What do you think of the new "This Week" on ABC?
Edited on Sun Oct-19-03 10:06 AM by Paragon
I think Stephanopoulos has done an outstanding job turning the Sunday morning talking head format around. A good mix of squeezing information, entertainment, and in-depth interviews into one hour.

1. I cannot turn on my TV right now (son sleeping in living room)
What was so good about it? Any news "seeped" through?

3. I'm not referring to this week's show, per se
I'm referring to the format and design changes that have been introduced recently. Changes for the better, I think.

5. I like it when he's behind the podium pretending to punch the buttons...
I like it when he's behind the podium pretending to punch the buttons that playback the video clips.

Its... well... great acting!

6. I doubt that's acting
It's a touch screen activating computer presentations. In boardrooms everywhere.

2. I like ABC really...it is awesome and has pretty good viewpoints
However, George Will really doesn't know what he is talking about. That what is seems to me. He doesn't seem like an expert on all the issues and he just looks at the issue and what it is worth on the surface.

But I respect ABC for putting him on the show...they are sure a hell of a lot better than FOX News.

4. The format is much improved.
Yet having watched George S. interview Joe Liberman this morning, and noted that neither of them mentioned "Iraq" as a factor in why the Senators campaign isn't going anywhere, I have to say, something is still missing. A "brain," perhaps.
