Stupid question about air Marshals
Why can't they carry a gun with rubber bullets in addition to a gun with live ammo.

Being hit with rubber bullets would have slowed that man down yesterday, and then they could have restrained him and perhaps got him the treatment he needed.

2. Because they're discouraged from taking chances.
If they feel the need to shoot, those in charge of these issues want the shooting to be done and that's that. Though this was the first.

The people in charge don't want any hesitation. Because they're sure the public will defend a bad shoot if it involves an airplane anyway.

6. All feds with permission to carry guns do so on flights
Whether they are on business or personal flights. They all become air marshalls. They are the first ones seated on flights.
