Does this article by Wolfowitz concern anyone else?
http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/N07233106.htm

My concern? The press will spin it this way. Perhaps the administration will admit their mistake about WMD's, but will try to convince the public (via the press) that it was still a good thing to invade Iraq.
We here at DU know the truth and the lies and how wrong this war is. But in a way, I think the public will accept this crap spewed by "Wolfie".
Anyone agree or am I going crazy?

Well, that eliminates about 95% of all Republicans now, doesn't it? :D

3. I think we're past the point.......
of believing that it was a "good thing" to invade Iraq even if there were no WMDs found. The American people have turned the page on that bullshit aren't buying it anymore. The price this country has payed to way too dear for the results we've realized. Iraq will never be a free and Democratic country. That was just all pie-in-the-sky PNAC crap to begin with.

Wolfowitz should be hung.

4. I don't think the "public" will...
know much at all about this speech, and probably wouldn't care much if they did.

How many out there even know who he is?

5. I consider Wolfowitz
to be one of the most dangerous of people in the administration/neocon movement.

9. Hell, even I know who Wolfowitz is
And I'm a Canadian.

Wolfowitz is an intelligent man, but that speech and the replies to questions make him sound a little less than that. It proves, to me, that this administration is going to keep on message, but that the message has nothing to do with reality.

Kristol worries me; I think the idealogical blinkers were fastened on so young that he managed to block out most of history and constrict the brain pan....there's just no room for independent thought.
