6 Republican Congressmen not tied to Delay / Abramoff Scandal
In response to the growing criticism of the GOP, Republican Party chairmen Ken Mehlmen felt the American people needed to meet some honest GOP members. In a Press conference held at the D.C. Biltmore Hotel Mehlmen identified the 6 Republican Senators NOT tainted by the Jack Abramoff bribery scandal. "These men are fine examples for the other 267 Republican officials to follow." said Mehlmen.

1. LOL
Of course, if only 1 Democrat is tied to Abramoff for a $20 donation, it's still a bipartisan scandal!

7. Hell, if a Democratic Congressman sat at the next table over from
Abramoff and some sleazy GOP pol who was pocketing an envelope full of cash in the House cafeteria, and said "Hey, dude, pass the salt!" they'd try to spin THAT as an unseemly connection!

DEM REP ACCEPTS COURTESY FROM ABRAMOFF!!! AMBRAMOFF GRANTS FLAVOR TO DEM CONGRESSMAN!!! The GOP stooges could while the day away writing nefarious headlines...!

6. The president is going to track down the other three?
According to McClellan the President was sure that at least 9 Republicans were honest and vowed to spend the rest of his term tracking them down.

Maybe he can enlist OJ Simpson to help. His search for the "real killers" will be just as successful as Shrub's search for the three mythical honest Repugs...

8. Perfect illustration of "The exception proves the rule."
6 of 267? Does he not realize how unbelievably laughable that is?

Randi and Ed should have a field day with this.

10. I would be surprised if Joel Hefley was involved with Abramoff.
He's conservative, a Republican, and supports his party, but I think he is basically honest. There must be a few of these guys left.
