GOODBYE, TWEETY
And FUCK YOU.

Oh, no. Not QUITE yet. I'm going to watch your show next time I have a chance. But if that next time is like this time, that will be the last damn time.

His guests so far: well, he just finished interviewing Tucker Carlson. Don'tcha just love it when they interview EACH OTHER?? And... AS IF college dropout Tucker Carlson has any basis at all for knowing ANYTHING about ANYTHING. Puh-leeze.

Before that, it was liar Duncan Hunter. This moonbat was talking about how we will go through the middle east, building "democratic nation states."

Lots of real intellectual-like talk about "what we should do about Iraq." "We can't leave now... it will be a disaster..."

Well, guess what. It's ALREADY a disaster.

And I would like to know WHY it is OUR place to go around "building democratic nation states"?

And NEVER, NEVER, a mention of what the "disaster" might really be: If we don't dominate Iraq, we might not control the oil and the pipelines! Gasp! Tweety never cuts to the chase, though. Nor do any of the other TeeVee liars. They never say that. Oh, no--their reasons for being so delicate about "the best way for us to do this" or the best timing to get out of Iraq, it's always "Let's do it this or that way, so we don't hurt the Iraqi people..."

What crap. Every day we are there hurts the Iraqi people. Ever since we tore down their country, they've been hurt on a daily basis.

But we have to stay there and hurt the AMERICAN people, too. Because a greedy drunk refuses to admit that he was WRONG and GREEDY.

1. He had a great discussion with Gen. Odem just before Duncan. Tweety
let his talk and asked good questions.

4. Okay, that's good to know. Because what I saw was total crap!
Okay, that's somewhat redeeming. Somewhat.

2. Turn it off. Turn it all off.
Even the 'entertainment' is selling you a 'reality' that doesn't exist. The 'news' is even worse.

7. You have a point, but my family wants the TeeVee.
And it's all of them against one of me. And then that means the TV is here, and that means I slack off and watch it.

But I agree with your core idea, and I think it would be great if the majority of us didn't watch ANY television.

12. LOL... it's not just the kids.
There's a certain other adult in the house who wants to watch it, too.

One of the reasons I have been married for as long as I have is, neither of us tries to re-make the other. That is, we each have the freedom to like what we like, and be the way we are.

But I will say this: that other adult helped me "re-make" my mind a little better. It was around the time of the 2000 election. I was all ready to vote for Bush, having voted republican most of the time in the past. My other half, no liberal, has always had a special hatred of Bush and of Bush's family and cronies.

For the next 2 or 3 years I watched as all the dire predictions came true. Then we invaded Iraq. I admitted I had been way wrong about Chimpy, and I have since dropped every single rotten bit of the republican party, forever.

And it's nice to see the truth.

Richard Ben-Veniste he SLAMMED Bush. It was after the Carlsen interview (I turned it on right when that was ending).

He said we have had two national crises and both times Bush was out to lunch.

9/11 he was flying around and Cheney was in charge.

Katrina - Bush was clueless for days and aides had to burn a DVD for him so he would know what the hell was going on.

He asked them about what we could do in another national emergency to get Bush to be aware.

It was quite a slam. I enjoyed it.

5. I really like hearing from Richard Ben-Veniste.
But why couldn't Tweety have slammed * when he was butt-kissing talking to Fucker or Duncan?

I mean, I KNOW Fucker couldn't beat him up.

I'm glad you heard something good. Because frankly, when he said he was gonna talk about how the administration has addressed none of the 9/11 Commission's concerns, I opted to post instead of to watch, b/c I really think the "terrorism" thing is way too hyped. That said, I know many 9/11 Commission members (the ones who weren't planted by *) tried. And are still trying.

11. the secret to sane Hardball watching is TIVO
or a VCR --

Tweety w a panel of print reporters, slow down and watch

Tweety w a Ben-Veniste, etc., slow down and watch

Tweety w Ken Mehlman, slow down and watch to see if he is gonna be mean to him. If not, fast forward.

fast forward for your life at the sight of Andrea Mitchell, John Fund, Tony Blankley, Chris Hitchens, etc.

15. LOL... I still can't bear to watch him. And hey, you know what?
A couple years ago I used to post on a wingnut site, and guess what? I posted an article in which Fucker Carlson came out in opposition to the Iraq war. Maybe I can find that article somewhere.

I posted it to the wingnuts with the comment: "Yeah, all those anti-war people... just a bunch of liberal wackos... sure."

10. Chris Matthews would give junior a blow job in a New York second.
How does the White House get to run MSNBC & CNN & FAUX? I rather watch a Joe Dirt re-run than watch Tweety.

16. Oh my God... Tweety holds the fate of our nation in his sweaty hands.
You have, of course, seen the signs? "Would someone please give Bush a blowjob so we can impeach him?"

17. He is certifiable schizo
witn wild swings between neo con, libertarian and old time conservsative - with a modicum of Tip O'Neil (for whom he interned) old time Dem.

Or is that manic depressive? Whatever the affliction, I tune him in and hope for a reality night - if not -then quickly switch.

I do not understand why Stephanie Miller recommends his show so often.

His sunday show is marginally better.
