It sure sounds like it to me. I have a little experience in this area and I swear I detect a digitized echo when he is talking. Not a natural room type echo. Its different. It appears his handlers are trying to use the Wizard Of Oz effect. They are trying to compensate for a little man with a big voice. Anyone else notice this during his speech today?

1. It's run through a device that turns chimptalk into Texglish.
That much I know.

2. I have thought this for quite some time
Like you, I have some experience here.
When you hear compilations of his pronouncements from different venues it is very obvious.

I also think they are using an "exciter" to keep him on pitch and to cut out the yips and yelps (peaks) that occur in his natural speaking voice which is quite thin.

One should not be too surprised by this. It is just basic stage management common to every live stage (musical or otherwise) performance today. And if anyone here thinks these same devices aren't used on every major studio production, well....

But with * it still annoys me. Kinda like a penis extension.

3. Perhaps it's really a body double
and the speech is pre-recorded cause the double's from Bauston, MA or....biometric voice security???? Paranoia or Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
