Now tonite on CNN and Hardball we find a curiously interesting fact...
He doesn't want to listen to anyone.
Well...you say...I already knew that. I found this interesting. Daddy used to develop little temper tandrums....and he'd confront those with...."well if you were smart...than why aren't you president?"
Interesting....
1. We knew he was a spoiled brat. 2. We knew he cheated his way through school and the draft. 3. We knew he can't manage a business. 4. But perhaps we didn't know the extent to which he "inherited" a cocky screw you attitude from dear ol dad.
Funny...thinking back...although Daddy came off as kind of polished....the attitude was probably there....somewhat below the surface...but still there....
This is becoming monumentally iconic of the degradation of the American way...the destruction of the American business ethic...and the development of bad business to the point that it will take everyone down with it.
1. It sure seems as if every good thing about US business has been lost
There's hardly an American company that can compete without monopolistic help, government intervention or some sort of fraud. I blame the Harvard business school emphasis on the stock price.
1. The stock market really reflects anything to do with the health of the middle class. 2. That GROWTH for the sake of growth is the principle measure of an economy's well being.
You and I probably work for an incompetent boss...who hasn't a clue regarding how to build teams or develop a quality product....that's statistically more true today than any time in US history.
On Lou Dobbs tonite...he was really good....he talked about how American's used to have pride in their jobs.
Who came out with the great quote...."if you want someone to do a good job...give them a good job to do".
