What bothers me the most about Lieberman...
Today was a big day for Junior and the administration. Rumsfeld was giving a big speech, and today was the first of Junior's two-day pro-Iraq marketing blitz.

Today, the administration embarked on a public-relations tour to sell Americans on the idea of "staying the course".

I'm greatly disturbed that Joe Lieberman--a Democrat--was a part of this Republican administration's publicity campaign.

In fact, Joe kicked off the campaign for the Republicans--by making appearances on CNN and other news shows in the morning--prior to the speeches by Rumsfeld and Junior. He spouted Republican talking point--which are utter lies.

Also, I heard Rush Limbaugh singing the praises of Lieberman today, on his radio program.

Many Dems sometimes agree with Republicans. Sometimes they'll even side with Republicans. However, It's pretty rare when a Democrat offers himself up as a critical linchpin in an orchestrated Republican propaganda campaign.

I guess that's what bothers me the most about Lieberman.

2. Oh so that's why I got this email from my mother-in-law.

Our Troops Must Stay
America can't abandon 27 million Iraqis to 10,000 terrorists.

BY JOE LIEBERMAN
Tuesday, November 29, 2005 12:01 a.m. EST

I have just returned from my fourth trip to Iraq in the past 17 months and can report real progress there. More work needs to be done, of course, but the Iraqi people are in reach of a watershed transformation from the primitive, killing tyranny of Saddam to modern, self-governing, self-securing nationhood--unless the great American military that has given them and us this unexpected opportunity is prematurely withdrawn.

Progress is visible and practical. <snip>

Blah, blah, blah......

Sorry, I'm not a subscriber to WSJ so I can't link to the exact article.

Mr. Lieberman is a Democratic senator from Connecticut.

3. I think what bothers me about Lieberman
is that he doesn't seem to have a clue when he talks, but he somehow always manages to end up sucking Republican ass.

14. My Jewish Republican friend said Lieberman was anti-Israel self-hating Jew
Boy, was he wrong!

Lieberman likes to kill Arabs almost as much as Bush does!

I bet he would have voter for Gore if he'd known that.

7. Joe Lieberman owes his political career to the National Review
Nothing he does or says should come as a surprise after you realize that fact.

11. That's what I've been saying forever
The problem is, many DUers don't know who William F. Buckley is.

And if Buckley was willing to cross party lines to support Lieberman's candidacy, it's safe to say that Holy Joe had the wingnuts' interests at heart from the beginning.

12. It was their Perfect Plan to destroy Lowell Weicker
Weicker was a liberal Republican Senator from Connecticut (yes, REALLY! They really existed!) who HATED Nixon.

The NR boys pushed Lieberman. With great enthusiasm. He is one of them.

Especially where it counts. The War Game, for Fun and Profit.

9. Is that he effectively lost the election for Gore
Although I adore Gore..the choice of Lieberman was a monumental failure.

It will go down in history as monumentally foolhearty as HC running for the presidency.

When will the party learn....
We're up against a machine....that wants to destroy the party...not debate it...but destroy it.

You have to fight back with every conceivable angle you can use to neutralize their BS.

15. I recall that apparently he kept pushing Gore to concede because
it would lead to Civil War.
Souter said it would have taken 1 day more to convince Anthony Kennedy...
