A FACIST is someone who (I can only assume) discriminates based on facial differences. Mussolini and Hitler were Fascists. I can understand occasional typos, but oftentimes people write facist like it's correct and it drives me nuts.

Now... back to your regularly scheduled GDing.

they don't know whether it is 'fascist' or 'facsist' so they just drop the first 's' altogether. Then again, DU does have a fairly decent spell checker.
