Wow, this is a page right out of the Bush book - taking something Bush does and then accusing the other side of doing it:
Big Lie Tactics In January of 2001, prior to 9/11, prior to, well, anything in the Bush administration, it was a given that Saddam was not contained, that the sanctions weren’t working and that Saddam was hell-forleather after WMDs. Here in 2005 it is sometimes hard to remember back to a time when what President Bush stated about Saddam was universally accepted as truth. There was such a time. It has only been the relentless, slanderous Big Lie tactics of the far left, now hitched up to the Democratic Party as a whole, which has allowed the absurd and asinine concept that there was a lie to get us into Iraq to gain traction. Historians of the future will marvel that so many people allowed themselves to be hoodwinked so easily, and all in the name of opposing a center/right American president.

My Head Is Spinning The hypocrisy of the Republican Right knows no bounds. We heard all year that Democrats must give George Bush’s most radical judges an up or down vote in the Senate, despite them not allowing up or down votes on many of Clinton’s far more moderate judicial nominees. However, these Republicans were strangely silent when Harriet Myers withdrew herself from consideration for the Supreme Court due to pressure from the far right extremists. They wouldn’t allow her an up or down vote because Republicans were afraid she might win and then not prove to be regressive enough for their radical agenda. However, when Bush later nominated Sam Alito, who would be the most conservative judge in Supreme Court history, Republicans are back to again asking for an up or down vote. My head is spinning from all the flip flops!
