no one will tell bush and his buddies that they can't make a war any time they damn well please. mark my words, there will be more war, even if this one is seemingly resolved.

4. Duncan Hunter so worried about the message we send back to
our troops.... the only message they should hear is that the criminals who sent them there are going to jail.

6. It's a game of Beat the Clock.
Keep repeating: "Impeachment... Impeachment... Impeachment..."

If that's too ethereal, ya gotta ask: If he gets his war on Iran / Syria / whatever's next on the Big PNAC List, who's he gonna send?

Unless, of course, he simply does a slaughterus interruptus, declares "victory" in Iraq, and pulls out prematurely (whoa! is this going to get locked as a sex thread?), thus freeing up more cannon fodder for Syria (or wherever). Not likely, 'cause then his friends lose the oil.

Which is why I'm still visualizing impeachment. He couldn't be any more crippled right now unless he fell off his Segway again and shattered every bone from the pelvis down. And none of the rats, deserting the Titanic in droves to save their vermin-ridden hides, is about to go down in history as The One Who Voted Not to Impeach Little Adolf.

Call me unrealistically optimistic, but he's got no clout, no capital left, and he's simply, totally, positively.....

7. Respectfully ... I disagree
If Congress grows balls Bush won't get the money for this war, that war, or any other war. Last night gave us a very good hit that balls are now in the offing.

9. What kind of ethics do republicans have for attacking a country that
has not initiated aggression against us and could not if it wanted?
