I know it's a stunt (MSNBC is already mis-characterizing it).. but I don't understand a Dem Nay vote...

I'm wondering why they didn't all just vote present....or even say Yea!

2. I agree
The Dems shouldn't vote for or against.

Register their presence/abstain only, or maybe walk out in protest.

Voting against just gives the Repubs fodder to claim that the Dems support THEM.

8. Voting present instead of voting no would give the Resolution more
weight than it otherwise deserves. In other words, voting no with the Repugs shows what a sham it all is.

The great thing about tonight was the beginning of a national debate about withdrawal. Something no one was discussing three days ago.
