Poll question: should the Dems vote for the Republicans get out of Iraq bill?
Edited on Fri Nov-18-05 04:56 PM by LSK
I say this is the GOP playing poker. They will not vote for it. It will not pass. The is the democrats chance to tell America what side they are on.

It reads:

The GOP version:

RESOLUTION

Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that
the deployment of United States forces in Iraq be terminated immediately.

Resolved, That it is the sense of the House of Representatives that the deployment of United States forces
in Iraq be terminated immediately.

1. Absolutely Not. They Should Ignore It Completely In Protest.
Don't be drawn into the stunt, ya know? Best way to deal with childish tantrum tactics is to ignore them completely.

3. Completely right.
Why should the Dems play this shoddy game? Not a single one should vote on this cheap stunt. Let the GOP rail, and we keep focusing on the issues. The American people may be gullible, but they are smart enough to see through this.

4. Yes
Call the GOP bluff and vote against the illegal war in Iraq. Immediate withdrawal is quickly becoming more popular than stay the course. IMHO those who are against the war would be fools to pass up such an opportunity. Time for the Dems to get out ahead for a change.

6. NO - this is the Republican's BS. It is NOT Murtha's resolution.
Murtha just said on Hardball that it was a joke and no one would vote for it.

He was disgusted that they won't hold hearings or deal with the issue honestly.

It is a Republican stunt pure and simply.

8. It's a trick.
They should not vote for this bill. It's absurd, and it's just a Repuke tool to embarrass the Dems.

9. I heard that it is an IMMEDIATE pullout. Murtha has a 6th month period.,
This bill is an insult to Murtha because it takes away any discourse on the issue. By ramming it through there is no discussion - it's a bullshit bill.
