Those of you who remember King George the First's reign and Gulf War I will remember that he had like 90% approval ratings. War went well, allies all together, everyone pretty much agreed on it, but Poppy just couldn't shut up about the war. He kept yammering and whining in that extremely annoying way of his about saddam saddam saddam saddam, non fucking stop. Everyone got SICK and tired of listening to him whine and snivel about Saddam saddam saddam as the war was over.

The came hurricane Andrew that moshed south Florida and there was a pathetic response from the feds and slow to no relief.

Of course the economy went into the dumpster, too.

People were sick of Saddam saddam saddam and pissed at the hurricane thing and he lost Florida to Clinton/Perot and lost the election.


Fast forward to now.

George the Idiot gets fixated on Saddam saddam saddam and royally fucks up the middle east for decades to come. Then there's Katrina and "heckofajob Brownie" and its like deja vu....

Kinda odd, when you stop and think about it.
