Your companies advertise on Bill O'Rielly's television program. One
that I do not watch because he is repugnant.

His recent comments about wishing buildings in San Francisco to be
blown up by terrorists was so far out of line I hope you will pull
advertising from his program.

This type of behavior is unacceptable in modern society.

How a business can support this mouth piece of the extreme right wing
I'll never know. I for one will not do ANY business with any of your companies until you no longer advertise on Bill O'Rielly's program.

That is a most unacceptable response.

By advertising on Bill O'Rielly's show you are directly supporting the distribution of his message of hate and intolerance by providing funding to in the form of advertising revenue.

Because of the nature of our commercially supported media networks the advertisiers are DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE for the programs they buy advertising from.

You choose to purchase time during Bill O'Rielly's program thus you support his program and those that find this form of commentary enlightening. You condone his behavior.

I choose to not support hate speech and I choose to not support those companies that support hate as well.

It is clear you have chosen to deny responsibility and take an immoral stance. I then choose to NOT CONSIDER purcahsing ANY of your products and will inform many people who find Bill,O'Rielly repugnent and caustic to not purchase your products. Seems you can afford to alienate potential customers by supporting tripe like Bill O'Rielly.

I make a point to write 3 emails a day.
This was one of mine:

Your company was recently contacted regarding your sponsorship of the hate and vitriol spewed by Bill O'Reilley who wishes for American's to die. In such style, I can only assume that you hold the same views. It is called "putting your money where your mouth is". Since your money is on Bill O'Reilley, one can only assume he is your mouthpiece.
Since I do not agree with the indiscriminate killing of my fellow citizens, I ALSO will put my money where my mouth is, which won't be in your pockets.
I will widely disseminate the fact that you support this hatemonger to many sources of internet media as well as message boards.
I will contact all members of my family and all of my friends to boycott your products.
One has to wonder how many of us "putting OUR money where our mouth is" will cause you to change your mind in supporting this hatemonger?
No longer in MY America will hate be tolerated to innocent groups of other Americans.
In case you haven't seen the polls lately, more than 57% of OTHER Americans feel the same way as I do.

It is refreshing however that Equifax has pulled their advertising from the O'Reilley spin show.
It is nice to see that some businesses actually care about who their mouthpieces are.

I really am looking for a mattress and was planning to buy tempurapedic. So I wrote the company and told them I would look for the same type of mattress but a different brand because I cannot buy from a company that sponsors a person who thinks it's OK for a terrorist to bomb a U.S. landmark.
