The Bad News Bushes go to Japan! PHOTOS!!!!
Edited on Tue Nov-15-05 11:52 AM by jackstraw45
Looks hungover-on-arrival to me - all puffy and disgusting:

Note the COMPLETE LACK of proper protocol (bowing):

EVERYONE smiling but Dumbya:

Associated Press 11/14 (SPEWING White House talking points):

"Bush is expected to get a warmer welcome in Asia than he did earlier this month in Argentina at the Summit of the Americas....Japan, the first stop on Bush's trip, and Mongolia, the last, are likely to give him the most enthusiastic response, while China and South Korea probably will be cooler but respectful."

Warm welcome:

3. "Laura, if you wear this, we can fool the Japanese that
I have taken up a new wife and respect their culture and then we can get what we want out of them. Also, it makes you look like Bai Ling and we can have good sex games with the outfit."

8. It's payback time!
After all, Poppy threw up on the Japanese Prime Minister in 1992 (gee, the Bush family is so talented at diplomacy, aren't they?).

4. I thought the MSM was saying 'Japan would be friendly to *'. Looks
like there is nowhere * can go without protestors greeting his ugly face.

From the knee-pad AP article YESTERDAY:

http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/news/13162101.htm

Bush takes fresh shot at Iraq war critics
Associated Press

"Bush is expected to get a warmer welcome in Asia than he did earlier this month in Argentina at the Summit of the Americas, where Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez led a protest against U.S. policies and Bush failed to gain support from the 34 nations attending for a hemisphere-wide free trade zone.

Japan, the first stop on Bush's trip, and Mongolia, the last, are likely to give him the most enthusiastic response, while China and South Korea probably will be cooler but respectful."

10. And it appears that here, as in Argentina, people are down on
Bush, not the entire U.S. There may be some signs that are anti-American, but the ones I have seen on news coverage are all anti-Bush.

I wonder if it's rude to Japanese culture/custom to have your hand in a pocket when greeting someone.
