If I lived in Virginia Beach, I'd be worried about the weather
because Pat Robertson lives there.

This misguided little man is busily forecasting "end times" and a pox on more enlightened people and their communities.

Somebody this negative/deranged/evil who wishes ill and seems to find pleasure in the suffering of others cannot seriously be considered a christian by any reasonable person. Which means, perhaps he is playing on the other team.

If I lived in his neighborhood, I'd be a little worried about what the forces of good might bestow upon him and his community of "worshipers".

5. Didn't it get hit with a hurricane
a few years ago after Robertson made a big deal of praying the storm away? Thought I remembered that but ?? could be "old-timer's syndrome."

6. no. i didn't. it was hurricane gloria and virginia beach was not
hit, but the rest of virginia was. my memory was refreshed last night on one of the news stations. i think it might have been keith olberman. so yes, robertson thinks HE prayed the storm away.

9. VB never gets hit
The Gulf Stream makes a sharp right out into the Atlantic at Cape Hatteras south of VB. The cold Labrador current comes down from Canada just off the coast that is why Hatteras is known as "the Graveyard of the Atlantic" They do get hit by Nor'easters though.

11. Bonnie. 98?
you know, the direct hit that knocked out power for 77% of the city. The same year that Pat said that a hurricane would wipe out disneyland for allowing Gay days. Guess God had other thoughts for Pat.
