I am well known in my circle here as being passionately liberal and extremely outspoken about it. I went to a friend's last night for a little get together and lo and behold, there was a guy there who was apparently just as outspoken about his RW bent.

I eviscerated him. I pounded him over and over about the DSM, Valerie Plame, (he said everyone knew she was in the CIA, :eyes: ), Bush's lies, lies, lies....


He finally said, "You might be right". I said, Dude, watch something other that Faux News. Get your information off the web. I am right.

8. Very different from my night

I walked into my usual Chinese cocktail lounge, and immediately found myself in the middle of a "My son is in Bagdahd" fest. It was really kind of pathetic, people we're buying this guy's parents drinks, the mother was wiping away tears, and they were all going on with the "Thank you, thank you" bullshit.

This was a war of choice, there's nothing to be thankful for. Fuck Bush, fuck all his cronies, fuck the entire establishment. You, Bush, put a mother in tears because her son is in Bagdhad RIGHT NOW for your own reasons "He tried to kill my daddy" (anyone sane would try to kill your daddy you stupid piece of scumsucking shit). You put her in emtional whirlwind and her son isn't even dead yet, but he's soon to be killed by a roadside bomb because armor plating HUMVEEs cuts profits from GM.

Fuck you, George W. Bush, YOU are the definition of elitism, with your private schooling, Yale attending, Harvard attending NEW ENGLAND ass!

People move into defense posture rather quickly.

But, if they have a bible in their hands, it's sometimes a two mouths and no ears setting. I believe they only represent about 15% of the population, but they have thousands of reverends who pump them up and a ton of money behind the reverends that they have milked out of the little old ladies and gents who handed it over with both hands.
