Dear BuyBlue Supporter,

Two weeks ago we began a fundraising campaign with a goal of raising $25,000 in six weeks to sustain our site for the coming year. So far we've raised over $8,900! That means that we?ve accomplished 35% of our goal! I'd like to thank everyone for their generous contributions.

We still need your help to reach our goal. We have a lot of ambitious plans for 2006 and your financial support will allow us to achieve them.

Some of our plans include:

- Enhancing our web site to allow access through PDAs, wireless devices, iPods, etc.
- Researching 2006 election contributions on a quarterly basis and providing research on ballot initiatives, like our California Special Election write-ups. (http://www.buyblue.org/node/3037)
- Enhancing our web site to list local businesses as part of our BuyBlue local initiative.
- Expanding our BuyBlue local initiative to other states.
- Launching additional advertising campaigns using print and radio.

Last year we ran a campaign called ?Blue Christmas? which generated a lot of buzz and introduced the web site. We?ll be doing a new version of that campaign again this year and it will be launching in a few weeks.
