Will anyone here be tuning in to the Rushbore Sleeze Fest today?

I'm sure he will be in an apoplectic frenzy. I might tune in just to hear him stammer and stutter like a mad man. I have this mental image of him foaming at the mouth like a rabid canine.

Rushbo, your career is on the rocks. Better start thinking of a different line of work.

1. Two reasons not to tune into his show
1-I almost ran my car off the road when he was yakking about how wonderful Wal Mart was a few years ago and 2-He doesn't deserve the ratings. He's already on Armed Forces Radio and Schultz isn't so limbaugh doesn't get a single minute of my time.

2. I'm not sure his career is over just yet.
His basic appeal is to the lunatic right who feel they're disinfranchised. Always pissed off, always looking to hate. The more they lose the more they'll tune in. Only way to get rid of Rush is to reinstate the equal time rule. And I'm all for that...even if it means we lose air america as well.

3. Judging from several threads here, the talking points seem to be
about making light of voter fraud via computer voting. Lots of questions here this morning along the lines of: How come DEMs won if the computers steal elections...neener neener neener... They seem to be trying to dis those who work on the need for verified ballots, possibly in advance of the important election next year?

Would love to hear from those with strong enough stomachs to report back on Rush's shit throwing fit today.

4. And I'm sure he'll diss today's senate oil profit hearings.
Last week he said, he actually SAID this on his show (Thursday), that "the oil companies should make MORE profit and he didnt care how much they made - that's good capitalism."
Only a super-rich doofus would make such a cavalier statement. And by the way, I heard this as my gas tank was approaching empty and I was mentally going over my November budget!

7. Can you listen on the net?
Where I live, in Mississippi, his show was preempted by an ESPN talk show. Darned his luck. :D

8. the best thing that could happen to rush's "career" would be for the Dems
to get back in power. The angry oppressed victim routine would work better than way

9. I love it. He's stammering and stuttering like crazy.

Must have had a few extra hits of oxycontin and sent his housekeeper out for more.
