1. Deeply in debt and hid the fact from his wife.

2. Told her he was a student at Harvard Business School. Truth: flunked out of one adult ed. class at Harvard Community School.

3. Quotes: "Nancy Pelosi is a cheap political hack with absolutely no idea what government should be all about. Even if she had a valid point, which she never does, what was she thinking? She is a member of the minority party and put forth a motion that the majority party investigate themselves. Is this amateur time on the hill or what? GOOOD choice, Dems...that is a super minority leader. Choosing her ranks right up there with picking "Screaming Howard" Dean as the party chairman. Man, maybe the Dems ought to go ahead and let Martin Sheen run for president. He did a great job on TV for the last 6 years, maybe it would transfer over. Actually, I should thank the Democrats. Even though the President is vulnerable in 04, they go out and nominate the one guy that couldn't beat him. I am really looking forward to them putting Hillary up in '08. With her on the ticket, I could get elected president."

"I am happy to report that the senate did their job and ok'd opening up ANWR for exploration and drilling. I am planning a Caribou Stew party for the day they build the first oil derrick."

9. How very very typical of these right-wing degenerates on the radio...
Anti-freeze poisoning is a slow and horrible death. He watched his wife rot away while that stuff ate her internal organs and turned them to jell. The pain she must have felt... this is death penalty time all the way. I can hardly wait to see Limbaugh and Hannitty and Coulter defend him by claiming his arrest is nothing but a "libruul" plot to "get" conservatives... They will probably want any democrat thrown off of the jury...

"Six Degrees Of Seperation"

Man denies poisoning wife, says he was “deeply in love”
http://news.bostonherald.com/localRegional/view.bg?articleid=111185

Radio host is arrested on air in wife's death
In the spring of 2004, Julie Keown began suffering odd symptoms, including vomiting, nausea, slurred speech, and a rash on her leg. But doctors could not pinpoint the cause, and the following September, after her kidneys began failing, the 31-year-old registered nurse slipped into a coma at Newton-Wellesley Hospital and died.

Yesterday, after a 14-month investigation by Massachusetts detectives and the state Medical Examiner's Office, Keown's husband James was arrested at a Missouri radio station shortly after he had gone on the air with his political talk show. Police charged him with fatally poisoning his wife by pouring antifreeze in her Gatorade over several months.

Middlesex District Attorney Martha Coakley said James Keown murdered his wife in Waltham in an attempt to collect on a $250,000 life insurance policy. Julie Keown was unaware that the couple were debt-ridden, Coakley said, and that her debilitating symptoms stemmed from anything but natural causes.

''She thought she had a gastric illness," Coakley said at a news conference. ''It was pretty clear she did not understand what was happening to her."

The couple, who had been married eight years and were childless, had moved from Kansas City, Mo., to Waltham in January 2004 in what Coakley described as an effort by James Keown to isolate his wife from her family. He was working as a web designer for a nonprofit Kansas City-based educational consulting agency and had persuaded his employer to let him telecommute because, he told the company and his wife, he had been admitted to Harvard Business School.

13. Wonder what his position on the death penalty is?
Maybe this will become a federal death penalty case, since he allegedly relocated to Massachusetts with his now-deceased wife specifically so he could poison her away from the prying eyes of her family.

17. It's the Delay defense
The judge is a Democrat, so the Repuke defendant can't get a fair trial.

I think we should just appoint Delay's mother to judge his case. Maybe then he'll be happy!

15. How come these women do not know what their husbands are doing
I knew almost every thing my ex was doing. Every one was always telling me plus I made it my business. I must say I did not tell him I knew. I said he was my ex. It just sort of tickled my fancy to know and not let him know. It is not a nice thing to do I guess.:dunce:

21. Sometimes
you have to do what you have to do. Sure, it would be wonderful if we were all honest with each other and upfront about everything, but so often the people we think we know turn out to be complete strangers. At least you are alive and well; some of these guys ^^^ are just beyond belief. I was one of those women living with a man who ended up to be interested in something that, well, was featured on Oprah today...and hid it from me. All kinds of trouble that could have been avoided if he had just been honest.I'm sure you are more aware now, and able to see people clearly. I know I am.
Thank goodness I have a loving an honest partner now that I can completely trust.
