Ladies and Gentlemen, Rightwing Radio has officially jumped the shark
Edited on Tue Nov-08-05 02:12 PM by Walt Starr
When the likes of Rush Limbaugh start spouting out wild eyed conspiracy theories about the CIA and Democratic Party conspiring to bring down the Bush regime, you know damn well and good that Rightwing Radio has nowhere else to go but down.

That's the wildest conspiracy theory since the one about space aliens meeting secretly with our government!

2. You could be right
Rush is really hitting the skids lately. It's not like he ever liked Liberals; but the outrate fanning the flames of hatred for liberals has increased the last few years; now almost at an exponential rate.

14. The Conspiracy Theory is Almost Right---
The CIA wants to bring down Bush because he's bad for the country; the
Dems won't cooperate because they're afraid of being perceived as pushy
and impolite.

23. Really? Do you have good info on this?
Also,if the C.theory is almost right, it explains why the repugs are so desperate to keep progressive radio out of the armed service, doesn't it?

12. As much as they accuse us of conspiratorial thinking,
they're WAY more guilty of it to begin with. I've always believed that they live in Opposite Land.

1) Gay marriage will destroy the Traditional Family
(umm..based on what? Oh yeah, just a conspiracy theory)
2) WHIG is just one, big 'ol conspiracy cauldron
3) Wilson outed his wife
(umm...based on what? Something "overheard" in a Fox greenroom?)
4) Able Danger was thwarted by Clinton so 9/11 was HIS fault
(the most recent conspiracy theory involving the Clintons)

I could go on but I'm at work. Anyone else up for creating a Right-Wing Conspiracy Theory list??

13. Jumping the shark, oooooohhhhh sounds so dangerous
Listen, I caught a snippet today on Scottie's press conference and when he was asked about the LEAKING OF CLASSIFIED INFORMATION ABOUT SECRET PRISONS he went into his blah blah blah bullshit statement, BUT BASICALLY ANSWERED THE QUESTION THAT THERE ARE SECRET PRISONS. Waiting for the WH to release the video.

You want to talk jumping the shark? If this little foo poo on his part reveals the truth, he's done.

Edited on Tue Nov-08-05 02:41 PM by mutley_r_us
Lose his few remaining marbles and don the straight jacket? OD on dope? Commit suicide? Homicidal rampage? Whatever happens, I don't imagine it will be pretty, but it will likely be great fun to watch.

19. I don't think there is anything funny
about this. What if this is a talking point straight from the White House?Would it surprise anyone? It sounds to me that he is attempting to convince his dittoheads that a government agency needs to be taken down. Do you actually believe that his listeners are going to think it's a "wild eyed conspiracy",I don't.I think they are nodding their heads in agreement. How much longer till this administration starts hinting at "enemies from within".We may be watching the beginning of another McCarthy era.

21. When Plame was outed, and the Bushistas were blaming the CIA
for the "intelligence failure" leading up to the war in Iraq (when it was the misuse of the CIA's info!), I wondered if the CIA was gonna get pissed off . . .

I don't think that the CIA would be taking that approach . . .

The sheep need to be reminded that Bush41 ran the CIA in 75-77, and that they loved him so much they named the building after him . . .

22. I thought the same thing.
He's insane and desperate. And it is FUN to hear.

Now the CIA is the bad guy. It wasn't bad enough what they did to Wilson and Plame...now they are going after the entire CIA.

Heh. Lottsa luck, Cyst-Boy.
