depending on which poll you want to belive. I don't think he needs to play the terrah card to get support. He's going to win in a walk.

October 28, 2005

Fernando Ferrer has failed to galvanize fellow Democrats behind his bid to unseat Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg on Nov. 8, and is trailing among liberals, blacks, women and most other demographic groups, according to the latest New York Times Poll.

...

When the Times poll asked how registered voters would cast ballots if the election were held today, 52 percent supported Mr. Bloomberg and 29 percent favored Mr. Ferrer, with 15 percent undecided. Among likely voters, Mr. Bloomberg received 57 percent to 30 percent for Mr. Ferrer.

5. You know, the really scary part...

is, that we do have to take these things seriously, because that dumb fucker * has INCREASED the threat of terrorism. Now do not get me wrong, I am not a person that is walking around fearful, nor was I one that rushed out to buy plastic and duct tape. I do not even really fear death, so long as it is not by fire. But I am concerned at the very real anger he has generated, and believe me, it is not just from the Middle East. I read an article that quoted one of our older diplomats in Germany, and he stated that Anti-American literature is becoming quite popular among German youth. The chimp is also clearly a very dangerous threat on the world's environment. At what point will we see a violent reaction to this. We are really living in precarious times.
