San Francisco World Can't Wait photos
from today's protest. Not great pictures (from my cell phone), but I thought I'd share. There were thousands of people there (filled about four city blocks), which is hard to tell from these; I started out walking along the side of the march from the rear, and snapped until I got up to the front, then took the rest from inside the march. There's one of a guy in a suit...he was one of the people who joined as the march passed him; I thought that was great.

I wish I'd taken pics of the cops; there was a massive number of them along every stretch of the route. I tried to duck into the Metreon at one point because I had to use the bathroom, and was blocked by a line of them in riot gear. While I slipped around the building to sneak inside, a few dozen kids were arrested for staging a die-in in the middle of Market Street.

Cindy Sheehan was supposed to be speaking, but I missed the pre-march rally. :(

4. I wish I could have been there!!!
If it were not for the late carpool due to play practice I could (?) have made it.

There were none in Palo Alto or Los Altos.

I feel marooned in a sea of liberals..... we are all just so - well busy.

I need to live elsewhere. Out here we are all climbing the ladders so fast we are getting terminal 'carpal tunnel'.
