Mike Barnicle laying it ALL OUT on imus!
Saying we were lied into war, and that anybody still says they would choose this war, knowing what they know now "GET THEM OUT OF OFFICE" he was even yelling it at imus!

2. How The Mighty Have Fallen
Boston Herald? Not quite the nameplate he used to have. Then he got bums rushed out of MSNBC...at one time he was Tweety's understudy.

Did he have anything to say about Judy or the Times situation? I came in on the tail end and heard a little babble about that idiot Severen.

3. If you think about it, that's really a quite reserved and
commonsense notion.

WTF would anyone want a politician in office who would REPEAT IDIOTIC MISTAKES involving the needless death of thousands and the raiding of our treasury?

4. And Barnicle said that in......
reference to Kerry, Schumer and Clinton who continually say they would still go to war even knowing what they know now. I'm tired of hearing Dems say that too!

6. CATCH UP. Kerry had an hour Iraq speech last week you might want to read.
He also submitted a DOABLE withdrawal plan for troops.

8. No he didn't. Read this and get informed:

snip/

The country and the Congress were misled into war. I regret that we were not given the truth; as I said more than a year ago, knowing what we know now, I would not have gone to war in Iraq. And knowing now the full measure of the Bush Administration’s duplicity and incompetence, I doubt there are many members of Congress who would give them the authority they abused so badly. I know I would not. The truth is, if the Bush Administration had come to the United States Senate and acknowledged there was no “slam dunk case” that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, acknowledged that Iraq was not connected to 9/11, there never would have even been a vote to authorize the use of force — just as there’s no vote today to invade North Korea, Iran, Cuba, or a host of regimes we rightfully despise.

I understand that as much as we might wish it, we can’t rewind the tape of history. There is, as Robert Kennedy once said, ‘enough blame to go around,’ and I accept my share of the responsibility. But the mistakes of the past, no matter who made them, are no justification for marching ahead into a future of miscalculations and misjudgments and the loss of American lives with no end in sight. We each have a responsibility, to our country and our conscience, to be honest about where we should go from here. It is time for those of us who believe in a better course to say so plainly and unequivocally.

5. Barnicle was AWESOME the way he laid it out in plain English.
This is how our Democratic spokespeople need to get our talking points across, in black and white, so it's perfectly clear.

7. The BARNICLE Aspen WORMS Have Certainly Turned
Edited on Wed Nov-02-05 09:24 AM by UTUSN
Yes, plagiarists and all. He and his fellow blabberers were all FOR Shrub and whatever aggression at the time, so it is certainly something to hear.

He was raving that we were LIED to and intel was MANIPULATED to go to war that we DIDN'T NEED to go to war for. Wow. We (Dems, not YOU/RANKIN) knew that BACK THEN and we aren't unrehabilitated, highly paid, hobnobbing PLAGIARISTS.

Oh, and on the question of what to do about the pols who NOW say they STILL would have voted FOR the war resolution even knowing then what we know NOW, he said, "GET RID OF THEM!!!!" We knew that BACK....oh, I said that already, nevermind.

Oh, and he also came aboard regarding pro-CHOICE which he still called "pro-ABORTION". He said that he is "pro-LIFE" but that the issue is all about him not wanting the government telling people what to do in these personal matters. We knew that BACK....oh, I said that already, nevermind.

Oh, and he gushed over FITZGERALD, saying that the thought in his mind hearing him was, why-can't-we-get-people-like-him-in-govt? Instead of the Shrubs, CHEENEEs, and others who never SERVED anywhere. We knew that BACK...oh, I said that already, nevermind.

There's been a question floating around here, "What do we do with 'converts,' who come over to what we've said all along, do we welcome them? Sneer at them?" I've concluded don't-ask-don't-sneer: They are irrelevant, are off in their own weather-vane world, not listening to us THEN or NOW.

10. "don't-ask-don't-sneer" -- good one
I think a lot of these are people who wouldn't have a problem with being lied into war if the results had been different. If the Mission had been Accomplished, they'd be swaggering about as though they themselves had a hand in it. Treasongate and lying about WMD would be dismissed as pesky irrelevancies.

12. Yip, Heard a Wingnut Prof Say Just That
That this was not the first "war of choice" that we had started. He cited the Mexican War and the Spanish-American War. Then he said, "But in a war of choice, it needs to go WELL for it to be accepted, and this one (Iraq Attack) is NOT going well."
