Wolfie does a good job, Re: Repug talking points
Wolf just had Joe Wilson on The Saturation Room ;-)

This was very nice. Wolf layed out each and every one of the CIA Leak Repug talking points. Joe then, took each one and debunked it. It was very well organized. There were no screeching Repug shills put up against Joe. It was good, straight journalism at its best.

CNN and Wolf should be congratulated on this. They took down just about every single Repug point.

Good job, Wolf and Joe.

2. Twice now, once at 5 and once at 7 great time to do it. Maybe people

4. I wouldn't credit Wolfie
he was trying to play "gotcha" with Wilson. Even after Wilson would answer a question fully, Wolfie kept bringing it up again and again - "weren't you to blame for revealing your wife's identity", etc.

Wolf SUCKS, he was a jerk.

7. I saw the earlier show, and also thought he was trying to
bait Wilson.

10. I just watched it.
I saw no gotchas. I heard Wolf go through the litany of "People say" spin points. Wilson then took his time to respond. Wolf brought up the next point. Wilson responded.

Wilson looked good, and so did Wolf. He was doing his job. He was helping Wilson respond to his critics by laying out each and every lie and spin point so that Joe could respond to them. There were no screeching Repugs, there was only a mutual respectful exchange between reporter and Wilson.

If you were a reporter and wanted to help a person respond to critics, how would you do it?

12. Disagree.

Wolf was playing a surrogate role here. The whole thing was to allow Joe to respond to his critics. I agree, Joe took down each and every point with considerable weight. That's because the whole interview was engineered to allow him to respond. This was plain good journalism.

5. Many people are saying Wilson took Wolf down... NOT.
This was so obviously scripted to allow Joe to debunk the shrill Repug spin, that one cannot interpret it any other way.

Kudos to Wolf and CNN.

I really appreciate your angle of that broadcast. I really do. I, like others, thought that Wolf was trying to bait Amb. Wilson, but your comments give me pause.

11. Hi CW.
My Rosina (tabby point) says "Meow".

This was scripted to allow Joe to respond. If I were a reporter I would do it the same exact way. I'd tell Joe that I'll play devil's advocate and you respond. Wolf was acting as a surrogate for the Repugs. That's just good ol' journalism.

If they wanted to play gotcha they would have put a Repug against him.
