And Now for Fristgate: Frist LIED about how much he knew: SHIP GOING DOWN!
Edited on Mon Oct-24-05 09:38 AM by rbajai
People - we are witnessing a MOMENTOUS tidal wave of change in Washington. The bad guys are getting NAILED and the Rethugs are looking more and more corrupt. DeLay, Frist, Bush, Cheney, Libby, Rove - and more to come - all exposing the corrupt, dastardly, dirty politics of the Republican Party.

The Democrats not only have a chance in 2006, I believe they will retake the majority! And guess what this will open the doors to? A SURE IMPEACHMENT OF GEORGE W. BUSH!!

And I personally believe we will see a Democrat in the WH in 2008.

YES!!!!

<snip>
Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-Tenn.) was given considerable information about his stake in his family's hospital company, according to records that are at odds with his past statements that he did not know what was in his stock holdings.

Managers of the trusts that Frist once described as "totally blind," regularly informed him when they added new shares of HCA Inc. or other assets to his holdings, according to the documents...The letters seem to undermine one of the major arguments the senator has used throughout his political career to rebut criticism of his ownership in HCA: that the stock was held in blind trusts beyond his control and that he had little idea of the extent of those holdings.

4. They dressed up corruption, and they projected their sins to others.
They were good, everyone else was evil. They were the party of morality, which means everyone else was the party of immorality. They were conservatives, which means everyone who wasn't with them were painted in a tight little box called Liberals. Conservative good. Liberals bad. Conservatives go to church, take personal responsibility for their finances, don't overuse public resources. Liberals are Godless heathens who are always looking for a handout, or are too willing to give lazy people more public help than they deserve. Conservatives are clean cut, three-piece suiters; Liberals buy bad expensive haircuts and wear clothes off the rack. Conservatives make decisive decisions, Liberals take too long with studies, and ultimately give away too much to undeserving people. Conservatives are the party of integrity and responsibility; Liberals are the party of pornography, casual sex and marijuana.

And the American people bought it.

Here's a guy who saw the Gotti operation gut-side up, also the WTC '93 conspiracy...then moved on to the George Ryan and Richie Daley political machines. If there's racketeering going on, this guy is both wise to it and will find it.

6. Dissenter! Dissenter!
Just horsin' around. Read "Worse than Watergate" by John W. Dean. Then you'll see why the scandals in this current Administration are referred to by that moniker. It's actually several little mini-Watergates wrapped up into the Mother of All Watergates - the Plame scandal and the false reasoning for entering into a preventive war which thus far has killed 2000 of our men and women in uniform not to mention hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis.

Will we see * on trial for war crimes like Saddam is? Probably not, but it sure would be appropriate.

12. Go for it.
It's just that when you say -gate, people immediately know that you are referring to a White House or general political scandal. It's simply an identity thing.

Come up with some new material yourself and let's see how you do. I personally like "Corruptathon." The "Plame Corruptathon." How's that?

13. We don't need to put lipstick on the pig and call it " -gate"
it IS treason.
That is what it needs to be called without any cutesy monnikers.

19. That gets me too
 The only reason for Watergate is because it's the name of the hotel. AH! I sometimes catch myself doing that too but I've been trying not to call everything "gate".

17. What continues to drive me nuts about all of this:
Is that if Clinton had tried even ONE of the things that Bush and his cronies have been able to get away with, he would have been out on his ass faster than you could say "HA HA!".

20. We would have had and would have a Dem in the WH now if
the vote counting had been fair in 2000 and 2004.

I hope and pray the Dems can get elected in 06, but I'm not very optimistic I'm afraid. The first priority is to get a paper ballot print-out and REQUIRED AUDITS FOR ALL ELECTIONS WHERE ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINES ARE USED TO COUNT VOTES.

25. President Gore
Had the vote been counted fairly.....

Frist's troubles are more evidence of the 'Culture of Corruption' leading this country into utter shame. I am ashamed, how 'bout you?

If anyone thinks this 'CoC' would not have taken advantage of the gaping hole in the election counting, they must also think Frist is probably innocent, and * never told a lie.

Sorry to be so harsh to some here, but gawdamnit, they stole our voice!

26. The New CCP
Edited on Mon Oct-24-05 03:05 PM by BeFree
Sounds kinda commie, don't it? The CCP.

The russian terror (beaten without firing a shot) had all those CC names for it's apparatus. Now comes the American Commies... you know, the ones who make decisions for us without consulting with us. The ones who decide what the science will be. The ones who hide from the free press. that's what the commies in russia did.

Then, we have Dean, correctly labeling these New American commies as a 'Culture of Corruption' the 'CoC'.

Frist, Libby, Cheney, Miller, Delay, etc., all members of that culture. All members of the same party. The Culture of Corruption Party. The:
C C P
